To find sites where the public can gather and receive information about the atlatl, where the atlatl can be demonstarated by experienced atlatlists, and where the public can be instructed in and receive hands-on experience in atlatl use.

To set standards and rules for competitive contests using the atlatl.

To conduct contests and maintain records.

To act as a contact point for the World Atlatl Association and provide them with information and records of atlatl contests and events in Indiana.

To promote good sportsmanship and the safe use of the atlatl in Indiana.
